Noticed recently that my motor is surging slightly when idling. Runs fine otherwise and when I bump up the idle with the throttle it goes away for a moment. Wondering if this is an indication of something that could get worse and what should be suspected and or looked at. Motor has slightly over 200 hours.

Thanks!!!

Sounds like your Idle Air Control is not moving smoothly and causing irratic idle.

I have read it may be cleaned, but no guarantee on that so, replacement night be better.
I have also read that if it sticks it can cause an overheat of the circuit that feed the power to it and hurt the ECU that that circuit is inside of

Might want to do some more research and reading up and testing to be sure

Actually if you use the diagnostic system you would be able to see if the voltage is fluctuating. I would try a heavy dose of Ringfree first
