2003 150 xl saltwater EFI 2 stroke

I want to change my water separator, fuel filter, and primer bulb adding a shut off valve on the line before the bulb. I am reading the manual and it states the following:

on fuel injected engines always relieve system pressure prior to disconnecting any fuel system component, fitting or fuel line.

Is there a special tool to relieve this pressure? Do anyone preform this operation prior to changing fuel filters or water separators on these engines?

No pressure to relieve.....filters are installed on the vacuum, not pressure side of the fuel pump.

dingbat I am in Damascus keep the boats in Lisbon. I am waiting to get some brakes and fenders put on my trailer so i can take it through inspection. I thought they were going to start working on it this week so i can trailer it down to the marina but they didn't. I should have tried it myself.
