2003 25hp Mercury 2stroke Question

I bought a jon boat the other day that came with a 2003 25HP Mercury 2stroke outboard. I do not know a lot about outboards and would like to read a manual on this motor to get familiar with it. Does anyone know where I can find the manual for it?

Also does anyone know off hand whether I should be using 87 or 89 ethanol free gas? Or does it really matter between the two?

Manuals for your motor can be bought at several locations and here at Iboats.You can check the STICKY FQA on here for some of the locations for a manual. The gas you use is up to you as gas with less than 10 percent ethenoal will work with good 2 cycle oil. I myself use 87 ethenol free gas as the ethenol dose cause trouble with rubber hoses and other parts overtime. JMO
