My folks Bayliner Capri 19 has the 3.0 and hits about 42 with 3 people on board. He'll get at least that out this one.

Whatever I have a speed boat. I picked this up with less than 100 hours in MINT condition for less than 3k, it's a steal. I actually feel bad with such a great deal!

Wow what a deal. It started with little problem and ran great. I can't believe how fast it is for a 4 cylinder. The steering is a little stiff so I am going to replace the cable, other than that it was a cream puff (a term my grandfather used for a sweat deal)!

BTW, before you go throwing parts at it do a bit of trouble shooting... the cable MAY not be the problem... could be the tilt tube or the pivot pins OR just a tension adjustment on the helm
EDIT: OR a loose pwr steering belt
