2003 horizon

I am looking at a 2003 horizon with a 4.3 volvo fuel injected engine. The boat apears in great shape with 80 hours on it. Anything to be wary of with this make and model?

Also, what is a fair price? it is on consignment at a dealer. Comes with trailer, brakes, swing tounge, bimini and bow and cockpit covers. Nada good retail is $11,500. Dealer is asking $16k.

16 is way, way too much... I just bought a new 09 H180 for roughly 4k more... So personally, I think your dealer is dreaming in techno-color!

11-12k is much more resonable, if everything is in good shape and well maintained... can't help you there!

Volvo engine and drive are top notch in general, as is Four Winns. As with all used boats, it comes down to how well it was maintained. 80 hours seems quite low for a boat 7 years old!

We have an '03 four winns horizon 190, we looked at the 180 but we needed the extra seating, they aren't to different though. Its a great boat. but your dea;er must be dreaming.
