Is it firing on one bank only or 1,2,& 3. 2,4,6 are on port side,1,3,5 on starboard. If it is fire on port side only check the shift switch mounted below the shift cable on port side of engine. This switch grounds capacitor within CDM modules on cylinder 2,4,& 6. If stuck in or bad it will cause this problem.
That is why I'm scratching head. It is firing on 1(star) 2(port) 3(star) and no spark on 4(port) 5(star) 6(port). there are 2 wires from the stator green w/wht and white w/green which is the only common to 123 and 456 respectively, grounds to all and the other wires which feed the coils come from the ign mod. So my cyl numbering is on with what you say and spark is as I mentioned abouve. Thanks any other suggestions. PS I guess it is firing on one bank only if I read your reply correctly, THANKS
