I realize this has been discussed numerous times, but I can't find the exact answer I need. I have a 2003 Merc 90 2 stroke with oil injection. The engine smokes at idle, and is tough to start. I want to make sure the oil injection is adjusted right, but I haven't been able to find a diagram and instructions for this exact model. Here's what I have:
The round spinning knob that is mentioned several times has one position mark on it(actually two, but since they are back to back, they indicate the same position).

They are activated when a cam plate(or actuator) pushes it from the throttle linkage. This plate has a hash on it as well:

The spinning knob is adjusted by removing the end of a push rod and turning to desired height:

Has anyone seen this exact setup before? Does the plate seem to be in the correct position? When I turn the knob a little, it lines up with the hash marks at idle. Is this correct?
