i have a 2003 Mercury elpto motor . When motor is running there is a lose of power when wide open throttle. At full throttle, motor only runs at like it is at half throttle but when you try and open it up it sounds like it is bogging down. I have changed the fuil filter, drained the bowls in the carb, new spark plugs> When running the bulb is firm. after doing all of this, it is still doing the same thing. Any help on what it could be would be great! model # 1050412AN and serial #0t680712

The bulb shouldn't be firm when it's running.

With the info provided I'd say it's time to clean the carbs, but it could electrical, the switch box can do strange things.

Go to http://boatinfo.no/lib/mercury/manuals/70-75-80-90-100-115.html will explain how to remove strip and clean the carbs as well as how to install and set them up again, including and not to be forgotten how to sync the carbs with the timing. Useful info.

The fuel pump might also be a problem and is relatively easy to service with new diaphragms, as might air leaks (temporary install clear tubing between pump and first carb and check for bubbles.
Could be electrical, but I would go through the fuel system 1st.
