Hi there! I have a 2004 Crownline 180 BR with a GL-D carbed 4.3. I rebuilt the engine in 2018 and she ran great that season. When I took her out of the water last time, I blew a bearing on my trailer. Fortunately, I was on the base where I store my boat (military). So, I just parked the boat there for 6 months or so. The following year, I got her home and tried to get it ready for the season. Cranked but no fuel. Life happed and I essentially haven't been able to work on it until this week. I replaced some things and she runs like a top now. BUT, when I went to change the oil, it was completely milky. I know that freezing can cause cracks, but it never really freezes here. I'm at a loss. I know water is getting in the oil, but it runs fine, with no over heating and the plugs are perfect. The oil pressure is perfect as well. Any suggestions ? I suspected the rebuild lube may have had something to do with it, as well as sitting for 2 years, but I changed the oil and it was still milky, thinner , but milky. Any advice would be greatly appreciated here. I'm still learning as I go.
