have a 2004 johnson 8 hp-j8r4sr. i have posted the question beforeso i now have new ones. i got this motor from a local dealer who is no longer selling johnsons. it has no # on transom bracket,just the tag. one mechanic says it probably was a dealer demo model? was in orignal box new. model # is on bill of sale. # on freeze plug is h9516510, just curious ,is this right ? also any info on what spark plug to use, and where to find a service manual. owners manual is pertty much usless. also another mech. says this motor was made by suziki, so whose parts to use? thanks
