2004 merc 150 xr6 warning horn

with just the key on not running, getting a continuous beep, it used to do one beep then i coud start it
oil reservoir is full
did not try to start

Check that oil reservoir again. It may be full, but the float is saturated and sunk. Check the engine tank for level too.

disable over heat sensor on starboard head.. if still have constant alarm with motor NOT runnin', probably a bad oiler module.....

OK so engine reservoir was low, warning is off! thanks
but now it wont start at all, zero spark, what the heck? does a stator go bad from non use? been sitting less than a year.
any ideas for me to check? thanks guys

ALL 4 YELLOW STATOR WIRES CHECK .000 ohms
grn/white and wht/grrn check out at .410 ohms
bad stator?
