I'm looking at a Key West 19' with a Yamaha 150 4 stroke with "80 hrs". Very nice boat but has very little use. Don't know about buying a boat with a motor thats been sitting around that much (probably lake water use in Florida)
What do you THINK or SUGGEST???
BUY or PASS??

I'd buy it, but I'd have it gone over by a mechanic first.

while low hours is generally not a good thing, I wouldn't worry about it with a quality motor that new. Any problems from sitting can easily be fixed.
Obviously, it depends on the starting costs. get a quote for a "pre-season tune-up" and a new water pump (impeller) and add that to the price.

It should make you a nice rig, but if you buy it be sure and get a Manual for that motor and learn how to service all the pumps, filters, lubricants, etc., etc. to make your outboard experience a happy one!
