2005 4.3 Merc Exhaust Manifold

Ok, now that I've found a leak in my port manifold...where's a good place to get one? Should I just order it from the boat shop here or look on line? Figured online would be cheaper but I can't find a good source. Also, should I just replace both since they've been in salt water a lot and haven't been changed? They're 5 years old.

I had to replace my manifold this year. on my 4.3 OMC. I was able to get a used one in great condition. So I just pulled the old one off and replaced it. Super easy job, took me about 2 1/2 hours to do it.
Looking for a new one I would only go with a Sierra one myself. There is a bunch on ebay that are cheap. Normally I am all about paying as little as possible. But I was afraid that with some of those you get what you pay for

Thanks for the info. The only one's I've been able to find don't have the right numbers. Mine says 864612 C. The closest I can get is 864612T01. Is that the same one?

I searched around for a few minutes. My best guess is that it's this part.

Ayuh,... That'll work,....
Depending on the risers, you might need the Open gasket..

Yep, I need the gasket the covers the water inlet and out. The in is restricted. How do I find it? So you're sure this manifold will work even though it says it replaces a different numbered manifold? This one is WAY cheaper than the Merc one that I know will work.

I would give the supplier a quick call to make sure it is, I can't say for sure since I don't know Mercruser parts as well as I know OMC.

Hey thanks guys, I made a few calls to several different dealers and mechanics. There is no aftermarket manifold for the newer mercruiser. The only replacement for the 864612C is the MerCruiser 864612T01. There isn't a "C" anymore. Maybe someday someone will cast an aftermarket one but for me, I had to pay the Merc price. I went a head and bought em both just be sure. Thanks again though guys.
