hey guy, i need some help. i got this boat with a bravo 3, the reservoir went low 2 times in the course of 2 days. i pulled the boast out of the water and it sat overnight with the drive trimmed down in the driveway., the next morning there was a stain at the tail end of the props. where the water would come out. and gear oil in the prop and in the prop shaft area when i pulled the props off. i thought, ok, definite leak. pulled the drive, drained it, pressure test , held @ 8psi, 5 psi,15 psi, 12 psi.
i can not get this dam thing to leak, its held pressure since thursday 5psi. i turn the shaft, shifted gears, no change. WTH?
any thoughts?
i did inspect the reservoir and hoses inside and out of the engine compartment, no issues found.

Try again but turn the prop shaft while checking pressure. When I check my OMC Cobra I use the shift rod to shift in gear while turning the drive shaft using soapy water on the seals. You might have to also do a vacuum test. The leak that was hard to find on this one was the water pump shaft seal. And is a common leak point on these. Fixed that one last year.
