2005 F150 Headlight

So yesterday I had 10 minutes to spare so I took the new bulb outside and raised the hood to find absolutely no room for fingers much less a hand.<br /><br />It looks like I need some tools and about an hour to get this done.Could someone PLEASE tell me how!!!!<br /><br />THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

Bart, My Chevy has 2 L shaped pins that hold the complete headlight assembly in. I can change any of the bulbs in about 30 seconds. Maybe Ford also has something like that.

Nope... it's alot of work. That was a selling point at the chevy dealer. It takes alot of removal to get to your bulbs. No easy way out... not like the chevy with the pins.

I wonder if that falls under the "BUMPER TO BUMPER" warranty. :D :D Just kidding.

Actually, yes. Ford will replace the bulb for free if you're under warranty period. Otherwise just remove the headlamp so you can gain access to the socket...I can't remember exactly how the Fords are set up, but I'd bet dollars to donuts it's probably just held in place with a couple 10mm bolts or maybe torx screws...really not that difficult.
