2005 Johnson 115 4 stroke

Can anybody tell me about this engine im looking at a pontoon that has it.I know the engine is made by Suzuki,know of any problems is it a good engine

The only thing I've heard about them is if the thermostat screws up they can run cold and start making oil. Other than that it's a pretty good mtr.

It's an engine made by Suzuki and identical to it except for Johnson colors and badging.

Im looking at a used pontoon with a 2005 Johnson 115 4 stroke,can you still get parts for this engine and can you do the service work it are these good engines

T-stats should be checked during yearly service. The only two things that the 115 had were the shift lever and the 02 sensor port on the mid section corroded out. Other than that great motor
