2005 johnson 15hp 4stroke

replaced impeller,seals,gaskets and still no water coming out of tell-tail . blew air through water pipe off waterpump and goes through, took out thermostat and still no water. can anybody suggest what i can do next? thanks

Put your Johnsuki motor in a proper test bucket.----Water level 8" above the impeller.---Test run.

thanks!! but did that and tested by spinning with drill in water. very little water out of pump. put lower unit back on and nothing?

Hard to believe that one of these pumps can be assembled and not work.-----They are so simple.-----Drive key for the impeller in in place ?

did you or not...inspect BELOW the pump to see if water is restricted somehow from entering the lower cavities below the pump ??

yes,key ok had it apart many times and blew air up water tube,it seems to bee open all the way through. thanks racerone and crosbyman!
