also someone mentioned that it could be a crankshaft sensor should i take a look at that to after i do the other tests?
You don't have one.
You really need to settle down, test one thing at a time, test it correctly and stop reading a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with your engine.
If you are going to do voltage testing, then you need to learn how to use a voltmeter properly or your readings will be meaningless.
Your best bet right now is to get a test light like this or similar. Every place carries them.
Hook the clip to the battery negative terminal and touch the tip of the positive termanial and make sure it lights,
Then turn the key switch to run, and check the purple wire going to the coil to see if the test light lights up or not. If it does, you have power to the coil and ignition and eliminates a lot of problems.
PS, just disconnect the terminal off the coil and check the pin, do not poke holes in the wire,.
