2005 Mercury 50hp 2 Stroke Steering Connector Rod Question.

Should the Ball Swivel ( Heim Joint ) on the 2005 Mercury 50hp 2 Stroke Steering Connector Rod move free or be hard to move.

What kind of lube should be used oon the Steering cable ram and tube?

1. Yes
2. 2-4-C sparingly. The cable itself is lubed with a light oil. Grease will jam it up.
