Looking for information on a 2005 Polar Kraft 17.5 (aluminum) with an up front rowboat type seat. I can't find an online manual or specs. The pic I saw looks like it is semi deep v. It looks like it may have been tiller steering but maybe converted to side conso, just dont know, thats why I was trying to see some pics from a 2005 manual. Maybe it came with a side consol? Also, it doesnt look welded, but looks riveted. It almost looks like one of the newer Sportsman models but with an Outlander v hull.

I have a '96 17.5 Polar Craft w/welded seams, w/side console. They call it a semi vee. It looks a little like a cross between a jon boat and a vee hull with live wells and fishing platforms front and rear. Fairly flat bottom with a bit of a flared entry, typical of about 10 different brands of alum. 17.5 foot boats (Tracker, Fischer, Lund, Lowe, G3, etc.). About the biggest difference is alum floor vs. wood, and the transom width/beam. My boat is rated for 60hp I believe. It handles 40 and 50 hp Honda's nicely. It's used mostly as a test boat for engines I've done work on.

Some guys are converting these to center consoles and getting quite a bit of money for their trouble....

This one i saw a picture of doesnt have the semi v you re referring to. It has an actual v as seen in the Outlander series. I'll have to wait until i see it in person, but i am confused as to which series it is. The picture looks like its riveted.
