One of the people who store their boat out here has a 2005 Tige with 6.0L that runs rough at idle and surges when at speed. I'm seeing 65psi at the fuel rail and this is more than I'm used to on most of the stern drive boats I work on. What is the spec for fuel pressure at the rail?

Thanks,
James

I would guess that depends on who's engine is in it. Tige is a boat manufacturer, they buy engines and transmissions from someone else.

It's the factory v-drive setup in a 2005 24v Tige. The plastic cover says Tige and 6.0l multi port along with 380hp. I'm aware that Tige is not the engine producer, but am not sure who is and have had little luck IDing it so far. My guess is that it's "Marine Power". I suggested the customer take it to the Tige dealer as I don't have a diagnostic computer setup for it. He wanted me to take a peek prior to towing it into town.

I thought maybe there was a Tige familiar guy out there who might know off the top of his head what the fuel ressure spec is. I have not been able to get anyone on the phone today from the local Tige dealer.

Thanks,
James
