Hey everyone,
Looking for some help. I have 2005 four winns horizon 210, 5.0 Gx-i. Turns over, won't start. I have pressure at the fuel rail, I have spark at the plug (it wasn't particularity impressive spark, but it was there). I tested the power to the injector plug, got less than a volt while cranking. I think that is likely the problem.... where do you start with that? Could the distributor cause that at all?

Welcome, it's a GXI what?

Being a GXI fuel pressure at the rail should be 50-60 psi
Injectors are turned ON by the ECM applying a ground to one side, the other side should have full 12V with key ON not cranking

Does it crank at normal speed? Does it even try to start or nothing?

Try some starter fluid to see if that helps.

Thanks for the response....
It's GXI-e, 3860255. I tried various throttle positions, all the way to WOT. I cleaned the grounds on the harness. Tried the starting fluid, check a couple plugs they weren't fouled. I paralleled the batteries while troubleshooting. I'm gonna check compression today and take a look at the distributor. I'll check the voltage at the injector plug again. Should the pink wire have 12v with key on?
I did replace the starter last weekend, but used it twice since worth no issues. Thanks again.

I paralleled the batteries while troubleshooting. It did crank very strong for about a half hour of messing with, then the batteries started getting low. I'm gonna check compression today and take a look at the distributor. I'll check the voltage at the injector plug again. Should the pink wire have 12v with key on?

If you have a decent spark then a shot of starter fluid should get it to run for a few seconds.

Why the weak spark? Look at solving that issue.

Low compression will not cause a no start condition. Unless it's no compression.

If the engine ran recently it's doubtful the compression has changed much since it ran.

That was my thought as well, I'm gonna check the distributor here shortly.

Linking a weak battery to another one that’s maybe even good…doesn’t always mean you can rule out the whole battery not being the reason thing…thought I’d mention quickly. It will just mean that the weak battery will feed off the stringer one and try to level out…often meaning that both batteries together are just as bad or nearly at least.

The battery is a simple thing to charge and test. Make sure your starting battery is up to snuff if it's questionable.
