2005 Yamaha 150 2 Stroke Low idle issues.

Hard to start and runs rough at low idle and dies. But ran good on high rpm's. I believe it might be a possibility that low idle jets could be gummed up. Took it in for service once before about a year ago and was told that it was the low idle jets. I thought I was keeping it cleared by running it at least once every two weeks. And using gas treatment in fuel.
Any advise what the problem may be and how to troubleshoot it myself? I would like to learn how to work on this myself.

Working on similar problem on 2004 V Max 225. What did you wind up doing?

I laso need help with my 2002 150 txr. My idle is fine but between 1200 to 2400 RPM's it runs very rough. Above the speed she runs like a bear. The engin was serviced by an authorized dealer, cleaned and rebuilt the carbs and it is still bad. Any ideas?
