--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boat starts and Idles fine... Can run at speed in neutral..When put under load.. idles down and stalls..

Background--- 2 years ago filled tank.. used about half tank last year and refilled .. ALways put in ring free and Startron.. Ran fine last year .. THis is first time in water this year.. Feels like fuel starved.. Will always restart in idle.. Could be the fuel has jelled or separated there is some component of 2 year old fuel.. During hot spell last week some fuel came out of the fill cap.. Could be blocked air intake I guess as well..

Do I need to pump out and replace all that fuel ??

G228 so that is a lot of fuel.. Don't want to spend all summer figuring this out Suggestions welcome

I would check the fuel vent for sure. If it is clogged then when you run the boat you will develop a vacuum in the tank that will work against your lift pumps. It could also be the primer ball. If the ball goes flat when running check for fuel restriction including clogged tank vent. It could also be a bad primer ball. Are your filters clean? If your water seperator gets full of trash or water you will have problems like this also. Is this a 4stk or 2stk?

Hook up a portable tank and flush lines of old fuel to see if that helps. If it does get rid of the old fuel. 2 year old fuel may have plugged up some filters/screens and injectors already so do not keep running to see if it will clear up, you will eat pistons if running motor lean
