Hi
I have an 05 4 stroke Yamaha 115 powering an 18' campion. On Thurs nite after refueling, the engine wouldn't make better than 3800-4000 rpm (WOT 5500 rpm)
No alarms, wasn't dragging anything, prop/plugs/oil level all looked fine, engine wasn't misfiring etc. I tried adding some injector cleaner but no improvement. The area I'm running in is very sandy/shallow in some spots but water flow from the engine seems good. Replace the plugs first?
Thanks

If you have a fuel water seperator, that would be a good place to start.

Thanks folks
The fuel filter and water seperator checked out OK. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

Did you change the filter? It certainly sounds like a fuel restriction problem.
