I get that too, look your pulleys over real good, they may have some rust or corrosion on them. My Atlernator pulley was rough and I didn't really notice it until I removed the belt and felt all my pulleys, sanded them smooth and shot them with Rustolem. Problem 90% gone, still get a little soot, think the Alt. might be a little offline with the engine pulley.
