2006 Mustang GT, want more hp, SC or get 5.0?

Cant remember if I posted before, but " Supercharger on the 4.6..........................hmmmmmmmm - 06 is the best Mustang body style Ford has made since 1968 , only 71K on it, great shape, lowered slightly, handles great, needs zero, new wheels and tires, fast ish but not fast enough. I really "need" the 5.0, 412 hp stock and easy 500 hp w/ bolt ons." Swapping a Coyote or 5.0 to it is expensive or SC, looking at buying 2012 5.0 not to high miles , the thing that kills me is I love MY 06 GT!! Perfect body style!!! Thx guys

We picked up up an '03 GT 5-speed for my son on Thanksgiving weekend. That is, I found it and he paid for it. Pretty sweet little car, and got it for a decent price. He'd been looking for some time.

I think it's like 260HP or so - just about right for a kid not even 18 yet. The newness of the manual trans has kept him slowed down for now I think. He wanted a V8 something and had been looking for maybe a couple months.

It's funny how we always want a little bit more no matter what we get. I think Reba sings a song about that. Idk how to answer your question, just making conversation about cool older Mustangs : ).

His first car, btw, was supercharged. A Gran Prix GTP. Fairly hot for a first car, imo. It went through 3 of my kids as their first car, and has finally given up.
