Folks,
I have a '07 df250z with 1600 hours on it and noticed oil on the top of the block. I have experienced this on my '04 Yamaha 225 4-stroke previously, and have successfully replaced the top seal without having to split the case. I haven't had to break down a Suzuki block before and wondered if this technique is possible on this application.
My plan is to pull the flywheel and have a better inspection, but first wanted to see if the pulling seal technique has been accomplished by anyone, or is there a know lip around the seal area preventing this? I'd appreciate any comments.
