2007 lund

I recently bought a 2007 lund wc14, there are no eyes on the transom to attach transom tie downs, I dont care for the long strap that goes over the stearn, can anyone tell me if there would be a problem if I drilled thru the transom to add tie down hooks? whats inside the alum. on the transom? cant be solid alum. any help, thanks.

does yours have the handles on the back to carry the boat around? if so just use those. I've pulled skiers, tubers, and other boats with those and never had an issue.

I was told by the dealer not to use the handles they are not thru bolted, I think it would be ok to drill through the transom & put in U bracketts, anyone done this?

It wouldn't matter what's in the transom. There are no wires to worry about. Just seal the holes to prevent water intrusion.
