I have a 2008 90HP ELPTO 2 Stroke. I need to de-rig to replace transom.

Correct

If that eye unscrews from that base, all you need is the bolt that screws into the center and have a flywheel puller.

Thanks very much. Hopefully I won't have to do any flywheel pulling anytime soon.

That engine weighs 300#. What are you going to use for lifting? Your stand is nice. Assume you will mount the engine from the side with the angle braces......yes?

I'm going to rent an engine hoist. I have no interest in trying to "man" it off the transom.

Yes, engine will be mounted on the brace side. The plans for the stand are on the restoration forum. I made it from scrap I had in my garage. I had to buy 1 2X6, a box of wood screws and 4 castors. I built it for right around $50.00.
