2008 Glastron DS 215 Deck Boat - Only 30 Hours

looking to upgrade to a bigger boat and found this 2008 Glastron DS 215 Deck Boat(5.0 220 hp)...i am going to check it out in the next week or so and my big question is what concerns should I have about a boat only having 30 hours in 8 years? owner is asking 20k which seems fair i guess but, I also found out that he tried to sell it 2 years ago for 25k with only 11 hours on it...either way this boat has no real use in 8 years. how accurate are boat history reports? also i read posts about glastron boats having issues with gelcoat blisters or cracks especially when kept in water for long periods of time, I dock my boats all summer so that also concerns me. thanks

Lots of things to look for in a boat that sits. I think the biggest thing to look for is the story you get about why an 8 year old boat has only 30 hours. 30 hours is less than 1 average season.

It is always odd when boats sit like that. Positive thing is that it has been used for 19 hours in the last 2 years, so theoretically the mechanicals are still good. Big thing is to just go over the whole boat and look at the condition.

I'm a pretty big fan of those boats, family and I actually drove a few of the 2008 models in 2007 for the catalog shoot. (That is us in the DX 235)

Was on vacation up north in Nisswa, lady approached us in town and asked us if we wanted to be in the catalog.
