2008 Optimax Water pressure guage

I am attempting to help someone complete the installation of a new 2008 Optimax 115hp on an older deck boat. Due to the lack of visibility aft (motor), we want to connect an existing water pressure gauge on the console to the motor. I can see the connection for the "pee tube" but can not find a place to install a fitting to connect a water line. Any suggestions???

Also, there appears to be an extra wire for a temp alarm and another for an oil alarm. The control assembly came with the motor so I am guessing the alarms are also connected to the alarm internally. Should we be connecting an external temp gauge?
