2008e-tech issue

I put new spark plug's in the thing,indexed to spec's,gapped to.28 thousand's. Wouldn't run smooth? It's a 2008 e-tech,

It had champion qc10wep sparkplug's. Crossed them over to NGk plug's #1zfr6f11
Took out the NGk plugs and installed the old champs and now runs perfect.
Do these motor's not like NGk?
Any advice would be great!

BRP does recommend Champions only. Not to be rude, but take it for what it's worth.
