I was on here about a month ago needing help for the same problem.. The following problem is intermittent;; 01 Merc 200 EFI, cuts out, will not build enough power to get on plane. One day it will run fine, then next, who knows. Today, it ran fine for 10 miles.. then started cutting out, drops to idle at WOT. Will not hole shot. misses in mid range, etc. We've re-rang the injectors, rebuilt the low-pressure fuel pump, resealed vapor separator. Fuel press is constant at 28 psi. Been on dyno more than I can count w/o replicating problem. And, it has a new 1000 CCA Trojan Battery on the crank side.. Any suggestions?

Re: 200EFI Cuts Out

well its either the injecters cannot inject for some reason or the sparkis dissapearing. occasionally I just have to go riding with the test equipment hooked up.
you can place a fuel system vacum guage at the lift pump inlet, a fuel pressure guage on the rail and a peak reading voltmeter on a coil primary and ride it till it quits and start looking.
most problems on that EFI are fuel, ECU and TPS failures are rare but can happen.
switchbox failures were rather common though :(

I'd test for spark on all cylinders at the problematic RPM ranges.
