Hope I'm not doubling up on this problem but I didn't come across it yet.
I have a smart gauge on my 75 optimax that threw the electrical oil pump fault.
I started the motor break in procedure and the pump cycles and the lines pulse. Is it possible this is a a bad sensor and not pump? Any ideas for trouble shooting this short of a dealer? Was thinking about starting it on the hose to see if i could feel the pump cycling.
