My brother has restored at least 2 or 3 Starcraft aluminum runabouts - mid 60's models. The one he kept the longest is below, what a beautiful ride even in choppy water. Unfortunately, times have been tough for him for a while in Michigan and he sold this beauty which he restored and kept for several years. Hopefully her new owner has taken care of her for the last couple of years. So...he won't be coming with a Starcraft in tow, but I thought some of you might like to see this one in particular.

Pauly, it's still in Michigan. My bro is north of Detroit, it was a local guy who saw it and snagged it from him 2 years ago. The price tag was 4,000...believe it or not...the guy said that if you give me a good cover for it, thery'll be no haggling on the price. It has a smooth running Merc 60 and as you can see, was customized and detailed to about the extent that you can go. What a smooth ride.

Well folks sadly (for me any way) we will not be attending tinstock this year. I can?t get the time off, and life has gotten in the way of my restore. I think I will just do some minor cosmetic stuff to the boat and run it for another season, by that time hopefully thing will lighten up some. I am really disappointed that the wife and I aren?t able to make it.
