2012 Bentley Pontoon Boat Steering Wheel Question

I am trying to remove the steering wheel from my 2012 Bentley Pontoon Boat as the chrome finish is all pitted and looks like crap. I have taken the cap off the nut off and removed the washer. There are 3 slots and one looks like it has a key way. I cannot get it to move. Can you advise me on what to do??? Dennis

Squirt some WD 40 on it. Or you may need a wheel puller

Do the WD-40, let is sit a bit, then start the nut a couple of turns. With your knees exerting pressure pulling the wheel, TAP the steering nut a couple times with a hammer. 99% of the time it will pop right off.

Do the WD-40, let is sit a bit, then start the nut a couple of turns. With your knees exerting pressure pulling the wheel, TAP the steering nut a couple times with a hammer. 99% of the time it will pop right off.
