I noticed today that I have brown oil in and around the motor in which I have no idea where it's coming from? I did overfill my oil tank a few weeks ago but not that much & it' should be blue. Any ideas what this is no gas smell just brown oil? Runs from top to bottom have no clue where from. I have warranty on this motor till next year but don't no he's it covers? Parts and labor or just parts if needed?

If you are really worried take it in, its under warranty.Hard to tell from the picture but it actually looks like grease to me .Start it up on muffs and see if anything unusual is happening.

Thanks for the advice. It's oil for sure. I called boat dealer and he told me they have seen with the e-Tecs that if you care them to high on a motor tooter it allows excuse oil to drain out due to not not burning all the way off.

I let them no that I use a low tooter but I have had the motor jump up and move around when i hit some bumps. Dealer said that proley what happening? The motor runs great and I am very pleased with the motor.

Has anyone else every had this happen with there e-tec motors? Again thanks for all the help.
