2013 e-tec 90 question ..

Hey everyone I have probably a very dumb question . Sorry i am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it come to o/b mechanics . Should water be coming out of the area at the top left corner of the foot just above top cav /vent plate when running on muffs ?

I am thinking this might be normal but I have not really noticed it before .

That's normal. The hose puts more water in then the water pump can pump so it overflows out.

I don't see a problem. Does the engine run without overheating at all speeds? If so, you don't have a problem.

We usually run engines in the test tank when we run them at the shop. However, I do run a few on a flusher and it is not unusual to see water coming from other parts of the lower unit. Especially since yours has the spaces between the lower unit and the midsection.

Thanks for the reply guys .. The heat warning have never went off . Glad to know that's normal .It just had me concerned because I never really noticed water coming from that area before ..
