I have a 2014 Merc 150 HP Four Stroke with 94 hours and am having random issues with an alarm sounding and motor shutting down. Motor will start then alarm then shut down. Finally it will start and I jam it in forward and bring the revs up and get back to the dock. It still tries to shut down and jerks, then will run fine.Have not gotten stranded yet Has happened when launching, Has happened when warm. Have had it to shop and no resolve. Just bought Merc Vessel View and it will record faults via bluetooth to my phone. Problem is every time the motor shuts down the app has to reload and I have not been able to capture a fault code.
