2015 Optimax 115 Wont turnover.

scratching my head here fellas. I went to start my boat the other day for the 1st time this summer (yes i know i'm way behind on my fishing obligations lol) I tried turning the key and the starter engages but wont turn the flywheel. My first thought was the battery was getting pretty old. Replaced it with a new battery with 1000 CCA, Tried it again and same thing. Next thought starter/solenoid. Took that in and had it tested and it tested fine. It will turnover without the plugs in. Not exactly sure what to try next. Any thoughts? Thankyou for reading.

Check all connections for good contacts, Looks for signs of corrosion of the main cables, internally too. A voltmeter and checks for voltage drop will help. Starter may have a brush or two not making contact with the armature. Solenoid may have internal issues. Some careful use of booster cables to verify component condition as well
