Hello all, I am new to the forum and I am hoping someone can help me. I have a 2017 Merc 75hp outboard that seems hard to crank over. I last used the boat in July for scalloping. It ran great all week, put it on the trailer, came home and flushed for 20 minutes or so then parked it. Went out a few weeks ago, and it was slow to crank over like the battery was dead. So I bought new. Nothing. I took the boat to a shop and they told me the gas tank was full of water and that it had made its way into the FST and that I have no compression on cyl 2,3 and 4. They claim they flushed the system and were able to run on shop tank but was only running on cyl 1. I bought this boat brand new in 2017, motor has 86 hrs and has never seen anything but ethanol free gas. Can anyone give me an idea of why I might not have compression? The motor is out of warranty so I can't hurt anything by trying to fix it. The shop recommends a powerhead rebuild but that seems extensive. Any thoughts would be helpful. I am trying to prep for this scallop season and this has really pissed on my cheerios. Thx, Mike
