I recently bought a 2019 Bass Tracker Pro 170 with a 9.9 . because most of the lakes around me are 10hp limit. It starts up and runs great but it will not rev above 2900 in the water or out in neutral and in gear. I know it is a heavy boat for the motor but it does not seem right I can't even get to 4000 rpm. I have seen a couple people here and there with the same problem but it never seems to be resolved. Any tips or help is appreciated. Thanks.
