What a difference in happy valley. Looks like a whole new culture under Matt Cambell. I know Marshal wasn’t much of an opponent, but the score is not why I watched the game.

Definitely a different feel to this team ... they played and acted differently. It gives me hope.

And I am enjoying seeing Western Michigan lead Michigan 9-7 with 9 minutes left in the game ... Hoping for a Western Michigan upset ...

BS finish to the UM-Western Michigan game. Time was expired ... shouldn't have been given that last play.

That isn't entirely true. The officials put 2 seconds back on the clock at the end of the PSU v UM game back on October 15, 2005 (yes, I am still bitter). PSU was leading 25-21 and Michigan had no timeouts remaining. Chad Henne, the UM QB, was tackled in bounds at the 1 yard line, and the stadium clock continued to run down to 0:00. However, the referee ruled that Michigan coach Lloyd Carr had requested a timeout before the play ended. After a conference, the officials put 2 seconds back on the clock and resumed the clock on the snap of the ball, giving UM 1 more play they should not have had. UM scored the TD on that last play and won 27-21.
