Met him twice, not impressed from a human standpoint. His disdain for us little people was very apparent. These were even events he was paid to be at and couldnt fake it.

Him and Buddy Ryan butted heads. Two men with strong personalities that didn’t agree with each others coaching methods. I remember Ditka was not thrilled that the Defense carried Buddy off the field after Super Bowl 20. Ryan came to Philly after that as head coach. That was some fun football to watch, including the bounty bowl😄

they were required meetings for the top company performers. Bob always brought someone famous in. Barry Switzer was another one, not quite as bad. Zig Ziglar. Some others elude me atm but a few players. It was the 80s after all....

Some boneheaded medical decisions made from the get go. I’d bet dollars to doughnuts the overseas flight pushed those clots to his lungs. Eagles are cooked. Hurts out, Johnson suddenly retiring, ailing Barkley, along with a host of other key injuries, offensive line is trashed. At least McKee will get some real playing time under his belt. I hope they don’t get Dalton back, they just cut him a week or so ago. Guy stinks!
