Hi guys finally got some weather! Put my first coat of Brightsides on today. Pretty pleased so far. Missed a few spots in the sun though!

Question for you gurus: I am going to sand with 320, is it ok to do it with my Random Orbital in the big areas or should I do it all by hand?

I would do it by hand.
And you better hurry before the bugs are at max.

Thanks jeeper, and yes they are coming soon. Here on Cape Cod we have a very small window between 60 deg for painting and then the critters coming. As I like to say to newcomers on the Cape, "you will love Spring, its the best weekend of the year"

Hi guys, got the second coat of Brightsides on today. Pleased so far. A couple of questions:

1) For you guys that have painted outside, what can I do about bugs, debris, etc getting "in my way"? I don't have access to a shed.

2) For my next and hopefully final coat of Brightsides, should I thin it the 10% that I have so far?

Hi guys. Put my third coat of brightsides on today, looks awesome..........BUT damn bugs hit it pretty quick. (see pic)

Question, is there anything I can do, short of painting it inside, I know. Can I sand those small areas after it dries and just paint those areas or will that look bad?

It's ok, it seems it had started to cure before the bugs hit! A light sponge and a little water, about 5 hours after application seemed to do the trick!! Still some spots to fix but for the most part done. Time to start reattaching hardware.

Next up is to INTERDECK the main deck, does anybody have any tricks to using this stuff or is it pretty straightforward?
