If you're able, remove the fuel line connector that hooks to the motor and then or that end of the hose into a container of some kind. Pump the primer bulb. Does gas come out? If it does, remove the line completely from the fuel tank/cell, and with the end that connects to the motor in the original container that you pumped gas into previously (make sure there is enough fuel in that container), try putting the end that connected to the fuel tank into another container and pump the bulb again. Does gas come out? If so, your bulb is bad.
Also, it's a cheap fix, but also try replacing your fuel line. Fuel hose is double walled and I've seen the inner lining/wall come loose and actually close off the fuel line entirely.
