Work's been going a little slow, but there has plenty of it! Engine and outdrive removal takes place this weekend. Then the grinding begins. I've had all of the stringers and supports built out of fiberglass, so there won't be any wood in the bottom of her to worry about. With luck, the floor should be back in by the end of September.

Wish me luck!
Kevin Fraser
21' Larson Commander

What year is that Larson? Nice design, It looks a lot better on the outside than on the inside! So, did you have someone laminate stringers and such out of solid fiberglass that you will be installing, or was that the way it was originally built?

Looks like a nice deep boat. Where do you plan on using it? Good luck.

Dave..

It does look much better from the outside than in!! My wife didn't see inside it for the first couple of days and thought...Nice boat...then went yukkk.... I have a brother that lives in Maine and ownes Fraser Performance which builds new lobster boats up to the big forty footers. He has one shop that forms the hulls and another that finishes them out. He had all of the stringers made for me and it was a good excuse for him to come see me. Do a google under "Fraser Performance Maine" or "Brian Fraser Maine". He's made quite a name for himself in the boat building arena. Here's a pic of one of his boats.
http://www.stocktonspringsme.com/pages/fraser.jpg

Hey dakk1, good question on where am I going to use it. If it's anything like the last three that I've done, probably the back yard. I'll sit behind the wheel and have the wife spray the water hose at me and make Varooom, Varooom sounds. But seriously, where I live in Missouri we don't have a lot of boating options. The Mississippi river is only about 20 minutes away, but the currents are very dangerous and a lot of debris in the water. The closest good sized lake is about four hours from me. Table Rock near Branson MO.
