I have a 2000 Suntracker. I have the carburated 50HP Mercury bigfoot four stroke. I have a problem with it stalling when I'm driving in to the dock at low rpm's.
Any ideas. I burn premium. I have new plugs. I've changed the fuel filter.

Stop burning premium as the engine doesn't call for it and is a waste of money. Same for your car -- unless of course it calls for more than 87 octane. Could be as simple as idle speed set to low. Tune up time perhaps. Have you checked and changed the spark plugs? Have you ever decarbonized the engine? The engine is 7 years old and probably in need of a carb rebuilding. Do you run a fuel conditioner like SeaFoam in the fuel. That should get you thinking and started on a path of diagnosis. Probably wouldn't hurt to do a compression check as well.

Thanks, 'll try anything, I have tuned it up myself, I'll try the seafoam. My friend has the same engine along with the same problem.

Pump the primer bulb when the engines stumbles. If it helps, you could need a fuel pump rebuild.
