22 Gallon Tank

My Boston whaler Montauk has a 22 gallon gas tank underneath the seat. The gas gauge is falling apart where it doesn't measure gas accurately. I saw a post on continious wave that mentioned I need a screw cap in diameter at 2.25 and a depth of 12.25inchs and that it needs to be vented. I cannot find a cap like this anywhere and the part number it references in the thread cannot find as well. Part number is 7J203085. Anyone know where I can find this or how to fix?

Yes but can't find anywhere to buy the part separately from the tank.

Contact them and they will set you up with a distributor who can sell it to you

Contact Moeller. Heaven forbid if you drop the cap over the side and their response is buy a whole new tank! :facepalm:

Moeller knows where you can get a new cap - they find them somewhere.
